RULES

Process:

There will be a maximum of 12 Benches/Shooters per relay
There will be maximum 60 shooters/day
There will be a maximum of 5 Relays/day-Relays 1-5

Targets: 8” Painted swinging Gongs at 1,000 yards
Rifles: 30 Caliber max
Bench Rest: Must be two-piece
Wind Flags: Will be provided

RESERVATIONS

Two Day Match Fees: $90
Camping Available: $10/day

Reservations must be received by October 12, 2011.
Fees for any entries received after October 12 will be $65 per day.
No reservations will be accepted after 12:00 (noon) on October 21.
Applications for multiple relays will only be accepted if space is available after noon on October 21 and then on a 1st come 1st served basis.

Relay & Bench Assignments
At 15:00 (3:00PM) on October 21st all paid entries will be entered in a random drawing for daily relay and bench assignments. Both relay and bench assignment will change daily.

CASH PRIZE MONEY

The total cash purse will be 50% of the total entry fees.
Example:
  • 30 shooters the total Cash Purse will be $1,350
  • 60 shooters the total Cash Purse will be $2,700
Each Relay winner will receive 1% of the total cash purse  
 
Each Daily Shoot Off
All 1st & 2nd place relay winners compete
1st Shoot-Off Winner 11% of the total cash purse
2nd Place Shoot-Off Winner 6% of the total cash purse
3rd Place Shoot-Off Winner 3% of the total cash purse
 
1,000 Yard Gong Championship
All relay winners compete
1st Shoot-Off Winner 16% of the total cash purse
2nd Place Shoot-Off Winner 9% of the total cash purse
3rd Place Shoot-Off Winner 5% of the total cash purse
 
Daily cash prize drawings 10% of the total cash purse
ALL Daily Shooters included

PROCEDURE

Benchrest Safety Procedures will be used.

All Bolts MUST be out of rifles until Match Range Master instructs them to be inserted. Bolts MUST be removed before rifles are removed from bench.

Adjacent Benches will be paired in a relay team with the lowest number bench being the “A” shooter and the other bench being the “B” shooter.

There will be 5 minutes for sight in before each relay

Match Relay
Relay 1A: 10min
  • “A" Shooter-clean gong 2 shots as sighters and 8 shots for score at clean Gongs
Relay 1B: 10min
  • “B" Shooter-dirty gong 2 shots as sighters and 8 shots for score
After gongs are repainted: 10-15min
Relay 1B shoots clean gongs
Relay 1A shoots dirty gongs

Total number of shots for score/day/shooter is 16

The Non-shooter will spot for shooter

Next relay will set up on benches while gongs are repainted

Process will repeat until all shooters have shot.
